HYDRATROPIC ALDEHYDE

HYDRATROPIC ALDEHYDE is used as a suitable ingredient of perfume that have jasmine like fragrance. Its presence can also be noticed in acid based cleaning liquid, soap, fabric softener, detergent etc. As a suitable flavor enhancing factor, it is used to formulate ice cream, chewing gum, different sorts of beverages and candies. This liquid chemical is soluble in 60% ethanol in 1.5 amount. Melting point and flash point of this chemical are -7.5 degree C and 71 degree C respectively. Its boiling point is 253 degree C.
